Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (MPSV or MPAVV) is a public university located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India, dedicated to the study and teaching of Sanskrit and related subjects. The university is named after Panini, a famous ancient Indian grammarian and linguist who compiled the Ashtadhyayi (Eight Chapters) around the 4th century BC, one of the earliest systematic grammatical works in the world.
