Zibo Vocational College is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational school sponsored by the Zibo Municipal People's Government. It was established in 2002 and its history can be traced back to 1956. It is now a construction unit of the "China's Characteristic High-level Vocational School and Professional Construction Plan", an excellent construction unit of the National Demonstration School, a national high-quality school, a national diagnosis and reform pilot school, a pilot unit of the Ministry of Education's modern apprenticeship system, and a model school for the construction of digital campuses in national vocational colleges. It has successively won the honorary titles of National Advanced Vocational Education Unit, National Advanced Unit for Spiritual Civilization Construction, and National Model Unit for Greening, and won the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award.
