Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development is a public non-profit institution of higher learning located in Eberswalde, Germany, focusing on sustainable development education and research. History and establishment time

The school was founded in 1830 and was originally a higher forestry college. In 1992, academic teaching resumed at the historic site of forest and wood research outside Berlin, and it was transformed into a university of applied sciences with a focus on sustainable development. In 2010, it was renamed Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development.

Key laboratories: The school established the Sustainability - Transformation - The Transfer Research Center focuses on research on issues such as sustainability transfer to sustainability transitions at different levels, and disseminates research results through appropriate educational forms.
