Introduction: Arba Minch University is a national university located in Arba Minch, Southern State, Ethiopia, about 435 kilometers from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

History: Its predecessor can be traced back to the Arba Minch Institute of Water Technology, which was established in September 1986.
