Technological Educational Institute of Kavala is a public technical institution that provides university-level education. History and Establishment Time
The institute was established in 1976. It was originally a vocational education center established in accordance with Presidential Decree 748/76 and Law 652/70. In 1983, it was confirmed as a technical education institute by Law 1404/83. In 2001, it was upgraded to a higher education institute in accordance with Law 2916/01. In 2007, it was recognized as a university-level institute.

Faculty: It has 104 academic staff and 96 administrative staff. The teaching staff has rich teaching and practical experience.
