Introduction and Overview
The University of West Attica is a large public university in Athens, Greece. It is the third largest university in Greece, one of the fastest growing universities in Greece and one of the fastest growing universities in Southeast Europe.
History and Establishment
The university was established in March 2018 in accordance with National Law No. 4521, by merging the Athens Technical Educational Institute and the Piraeus Technical Educational Institute. In 2019, the National School of Public Health also joined.

Faculty: It has 607 teaching staff and 151 special teaching staff, providing professional teaching guidance for students.
