History
Université Adventiste Zurcher was born in 1995 after the destruction of the Central African Adventist University in Rwanda in 1994, when the South African-Indian Ocean Division voted to open four campuses in the French-speaking part of its territory. In the fall of 1996, the school opened its doors to 35 theology students and temporarily set up at the Union Missionary Society of the Indian Ocean compound. In 1997, the school moved to Antsirabe. In 1998, the school finally moved to its current location.
