Introduction
Coventry University is a private Christian university located in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. It is affiliated with the Global Living Faith Church and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Association of African Universities and the Nigerian National University Commission.
Overview
Students and Alumni: It has a diverse alumni network with more than 20,000 members in more than 50 countries. The school enrolls many students from different regions every year, providing students with a broad international exchange platform.
Colleges and Majors: There are 4 colleges, namely the School of Management and Social Sciences, the School of Leadership Development Studies, the School of Engineering and the School of Science and Technology, offering more than 36 undergraduate majors and many postgraduate courses.
Library: The library center is the core of the school's learning resources. It has three floors and a total area of 11,300 square meters. It is one of the largest libraries in Africa and can accommodate 3,000 readers and 500 researchers and graduate students.
History
The history of Coventry University began in October 1999, one month after the dedication of the Faith Hall in Ota, and the university project was launched. It is the product of the Liberation Committee and was jointly established by the World Mission Agency and the Global Living Faith Church. On October 21, 2002, Coventry University officially opened in Canaan, Ota.
