Introduction
The Poznan University of Arts is a public art university with a long history and a good reputation in Poland. It is located in Poznan in the central and western part of Poland. It is the only art school in Poland that has obtained university status so far. It is also one of the three major national art schools in Poland and ranks 36th among art universities in the world.

History
Establishment time: 1919.
Development process: In 1919, the project of the School of Decorative Arts in Poznan was approved and officially opened on November 1 of that year, just before Poland's independence. Although the school has changed its name many times since then, it has always been committed to art education. In 1938, the school became a center of higher education, but the outbreak of World War II hindered its further development. After the war, the school continued to grow and develop, and in 1996 it obtained the status of an academy of fine arts, and in 2010 it became an art university.
