Introduction
Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs is an important higher education institution in Ukraine. It trains professionals for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and related fields, and has a high level of teaching and research in professional fields such as law, law enforcement, and management.

Student size: The school has a total of about 4,500 students.
Number of faculty and staff: There are 250 full-time teachers and 58 part-time teachers, of which 154 full-time teachers and 45 part-time teachers have doctoral degrees.
History
On March 16, 1966, the school was established as the Dnipropetrovsk Secondary Specialized School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.
In 1992, the school was renamed the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On September 1, 1997, the school was transformed into a higher education institution, namely the Dnipropetrovsk Law School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
2001 In 1966, the Law School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was established on this basis, and in 2005 it officially became the Dnipropetrovsk State University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In 2016, the university was rated as the best educational institution in the field of law in the region.

Faculty: The teaching staff is of high quality. Most of the teachers are senior lawyers with degrees and titles. They not only have rich scientific research results, but also have many years of practical experience in law enforcement departments such as national police agencies, courts, procuratorates, local authorities, and other organizations and institutions directly involved in the application and implementation of the law. They can provide students with a combination of theory and practice.
Teaching facilities: The school has complete teaching facilities, such as the library complex, which has 5 reading rooms and a collection of about 400,000 books, covering printed publications in different branches of law, history, economics, philosophy, sociology, etc., as well as electronic media, Internet access, Ukraine's basic laws and normative legal documents, "Union Law" Information systems, professional databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, computer classrooms, etc.; the school also has practical teaching venues such as court training halls and interactive rooms, as well as a foreign language department equipped with multimedia classrooms, which can provide professional learning in major European languages such as French, German, English, and Spanish.
Scientific research results: The school has made remarkable achievements in the research of basic and applied issues of law enforcement and law, attaches great importance to the research of legislative activities, the improvement of the legislative basis of law enforcement agencies, and the implementation of crime prevention and research results. Scientists participate in the drafting of laws, government regulations, and parliamentary hearings on law enforcement matters, and their scientific research results are also published in university journals.
International cooperation: The school actively carries out international cooperation and has established cooperative relations with more than 20 foreign countries, including Poland, Germany, the United States, Austria, Croatia, Spain, Lithuania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, etc. The cooperation involves joint scientific research, academic activities, training, joint participation in research projects, student and teacher exchanges, etc. , in addition, it actively participates in international scientific research rankings and international funding activities.

Key laboratories: The school has three laboratories, namely, the Education and Science Laboratory for Research on Preventive Activities, the Social Monitoring Science Laboratory of the Institute of Part-time Education and Continuing Education, and the Scientific Education Laboratory for Research on Combating Organized Crime and Corruption.
