National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education named after P.L. Shupik is a famous medical postgraduate education institution in Ukraine. In 1926, the People's Commissariat of Health of Ukraine decided to open a clinical institute for doctor training in Odessa.

1955 In 2003, in order to provide qualified medical personnel for the country's industrial center, the institution moved to Zaporizhia.

On November 26, 2003, according to Order No. 704 of the Ukrainian Cabinet, the Zaporizhia State Medical College was reorganized into the Zaporizhia Medical Graduate School.
