Dnipro National University of Railway Transport is one of the four authoritative national engineering universities in Ukraine. The university was founded in 1930 and was originally named the School of Railway Transport Engineers. In 1993, it was renamed Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport and changed to its current name in 2000.
