Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture is one of the most authoritative universities of architecture in Europe. History

The history of the school can be traced back to the establishment of the first engineering college in Ukraine, the Central Technical School of Artillery, in 1912.

On June 12, 1930, the Kharkiv Institute of Civil Engineering was established on the basis of the Kharkiv Institute of Technology and the Department of Architecture of the Kharkiv Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1994 In 2001, the school was renamed Kharkiv State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
