The University of Bamberg (Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg) is one of the oldest universities in Bavaria, Germany. Development process: In 1773, the departments of theology, philosophy, law and pharmacy were established, and the name Universitas Ottoniano-Fridericiana. In 1988, it was officially named "University of Bamberg".
