Shijiazhuang Tiedao University Sifang College was founded in 2001. It is an independent college that implements undergraduate education approved by the Hebei Provincial People's Government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education. The parent school of the college, Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, was formerly the Railway Engineering College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It was founded in 1950 and combines the advantages of the military, ministries and localities. It has a profound historical and cultural heritage and distinctive school characteristics. It is a key university in Hebei Province. The college currently has two campuses with a campus area of more than 1,050 acres. The campus environment is elegant, the infrastructure is complete, and the teaching equipment is advanced. It recruits students from 30 provinces (cities) across the country and currently has more than 11,600 students. The college has 10 departments, 2 teaching departments, and 24 undergraduate majors, covering six disciplines of engineering, economics, management, law, literature, and art, forming a multi-disciplinary cross-penetration discipline and professional group.
