Introduction
Belarusian National Technical University (BTU), also known as Belarusian National Industrial University, is one of the oldest and highest-level science and engineering universities in Belarus. It is also one of the founding institutions of the China-Russia-Belarus University Alliance and one of the four famous national universities in the former Soviet Union.
History and establishment time
The school was founded in 1920. Its history can be traced back to the Minsk Polytechnic School. In 1920, the Belarusian State Polytechnic Institute was established on this basis. After several reorganizations and name changes, it was awarded the status of a leading engineering education institution in the Belarusian education system in 1997. In 2002, it was officially renamed the Belarusian State Technical University.
