Introduction

Belarusian State Medical University is one of the oldest and most authoritative medical higher education institutions in Belarus. It is located in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. History and establishment time

The history of the school can be traced back to 1921, when the Belarusian State University was established and included the Department of Medicine. In 1930, the Department of Medicine was reorganized into the Minsk Medical College, and later developed into the Belarusian State Medical University.

During World War II, the school stopped operating from June 1941 to October 1943, and then resumed teaching in Yaroslavl, and moved back to Minsk in 1944.
