1. History Hebei Foreign Studies University was founded in 1998, formerly known as "Shijiazhuang United Technology College". In April 2001, the pilot education of academic diploma in Hebei Province was carried out. In January 2003, it was upgraded to "Shijiazhuang Foreign Language Translation Vocational College" with the approval of Hebei Provincial Department of Education. In 2011, the undergraduate program was planned. Campus Environment Hebei Foreign Studies University is located at the foot of Fenglong Mountain, covering an area of 2245.208262 acres (1496805.508 square meters), and can accommodate 40,000 students.
