Liaoning Finance and Trade College is an undergraduate college with general higher education enrollment qualifications. It was approved by the Ministry of Education in September 2008 and was one of the first batch of independent colleges in China. It is located in the beautiful national scenic spot - Xingcheng Seaside. The college has 35 undergraduate majors, covering six disciplines including economics, management, literature, art, education, and engineering. The college has independently developed five simulation training platforms for all positions of corporate accounting, comprehensive banking business, auditing, taxation, futures and securities, which have obtained national patents, to strengthen the cultivation of students' professional abilities and enable students to find employment upon graduation. All classrooms (a total of 18,648 seats) are interactive live classrooms with touch-screen digital all-in-one machines. Students can watch the teacher's lecture screen of each course at any time through the campus network, providing conditions for students to review and re-learn. The college has established a dynamic question bank covering all examination courses and test courses. All examinations are randomly and automatically composed by computer-based examinations, and the examination results are announced in real time. A smart campus for teaching, scientific research, student management, and resource sharing has been built, realizing paperless office and real-time information statistics and information feedback for teaching quality monitoring, student management, and teacher management. The college has built an ecological agricultural demonstration park and quality education and training center covering an area of 235 acres and a facility agriculture area of 100,904 square meters to provide green vegetables for the canteen, and also provide venues for students' practical training and artistic creativity. The college actively carries out school-local cooperation with local governments, strengthens the ability of running schools to serve local economic construction, and jointly carries out packaging design for agricultural products, especially helping swimwear companies to improve more than 30 processing technologies and design more than 200 swimwear styles, filling the gap in the training of swimwear design talents in western Liaoning and enhancing the influence of Huludao's swimwear industry. The college's teachers and students designed and built a 35,000-square-meter Red Hall on their own, with General Secretary Xi's important thought of "the red gene is passed down from generation to generation" as the context, and the three extraordinary historical stages of revolution, construction, and reform that the Communist Party of China has gone through as the main line.
