Introduction and Overview
The University of Pristina is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Kosovo. It is located in the capital of Pristina and is known for providing a diverse learning environment and high-quality education. The university is a member of the European University Association, the Compostela University Group, the European International Education Association, and the Danube Rectors' Conference.
History and Founding Time
The university was founded in 1969 and started its first academic year in 1970. However, due to political turmoil, war and other reasons, it split into two independent universities after 1999, located in Pristina and Mitrovica respectively.

Faculty: In the 2022-2023 academic year, there are 1,284 academic staff.
Student Size: In the 2022-2023 academic year, there are 31,200 students.
Disciplines: The disciplines cover a wide range of fields from social sciences, natural sciences to medicine and engineering technology, offering bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs.

Cost
Tuition fees for local residents start from $9 per year and for foreigners from $1,000 per year, in addition to other costs such as accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

Location: The main campus is located in the city of Pristina. The urban environment provides students with more opportunities for internships and part-time jobs, and also facilitates students to access the city's attractions and entertainment infrastructure.
Campus Facilities: The school has a library with scientific works and novels by university graduates and teachers. It also has a developed sports infrastructure, including sports fields and clubs.
