Founded in 1981, Jiaozuo University is a comprehensive general college for cultivating technical and skilled talents approved by the Ministry of Education of China, supervised by the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and organized by the Jiaozuo Municipal Government. The school is located in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, an emerging excellent landscape tourism city in China. It has two campuses, the south and the north, with a campus area of 1.139 million square meters and a building area of 530,900 square meters. There are more than 26,000 students at all levels and types, including more than 14,000 full-time college students; 933 faculty and staff, including 210 senior professional and technical positions, and 460 with doctoral and master's degrees. The school has 14 colleges including the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, and the School of Artificial Intelligence, with 55 majors including mechatronics technology, marketing, and big data technology. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 142 million yuan, and the library has a collection of more than 1.4 million books. The school has made outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Henan Province, especially in the northwest of Henan Province, and its overall development has shown a positive and upward trend.
