Introduction and Overview
Benha University is a large public university in Egypt, located in Benha, the capital of the Qalbiyu Governorate in Egypt, more than 30 kilometers northeast of Cairo. The school has 6 campuses, 16 colleges, and 151 departments. It is a very large public school in Egypt.
History and establishment time
The predecessor of Benha University was the Agricultural College, the first scientific research entity in Egypt, established in 1911. In 1976, the Benha Branch of Zagazik University was established. In 1981, the College of Arts and Sciences was added. In 1990, the Law School was established. In 1994, the Law School was merged with the Benha Branch. In 1992, the Advanced Nursing College was planned and established and became the Nursing College in 1996. In 1998, the Special Education College merged with the Benha Branch. In 2005, the Benha Branch was separated from Zagazik University and became Benha University. In 2006, the Higher Technical College joined Benha University, and the School of Computer and Information was established in the same year.

Faculty: With 5,200 teachers and researchers and 4,914 other staff, the university is able to provide students with good teaching and service support.
Academic Achievements: A large number of outstanding talents have been trained in the fields of surveying and mapping engineering. Graduates of the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering have performed well locally, in the Arab and African regions, and around the world. The school has also conducted a number of studies in the fields of engineering and medicine, and actively cooperated with international universities and research institutions.
