Introduction and Overview
Sohag University is a public comprehensive university in Egypt. It is located in Nasser City, Sohag Governorate, Egypt. It plays an important role in higher education in the local and surrounding areas, providing students with a wide range of subject choices and rich learning resources.
History and Establishment
The school became an independent university in 2006. Before that, it was a branch of South Valley University in Qena.
