The University of Misurata is a large public university in Libya. It is located in Misurata, the third largest city in Libya. It provides high-quality educational services to the local and national level and occupies an important position in the field of higher education in Libya.
History and Establishment
The university was established in 1984 and was originally the October 7th University. In 2010, according to the Decision No. 149 of the General People's Committee of Libya, the October 7th University merged with Al-Mergib University and was renamed the University of Misurata.
