Hebei Agricultural University Modern Science and Technology College is located in Baoding City, Hebei Province. It was established in July 2001. It is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the Hebei Provincial Government, confirmed by the Ministry of Education, and organized by Hebei Agricultural University with a new mechanism and new model. The college inherits the profound cultural heritage of Hebei Agricultural University, a century-old institution, relies on the high-quality educational and teaching resources and good educational environment of Hebei Agricultural University, implements the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality, adheres to the school-running philosophy of closely combining theory with practice, and highlights the school-running philosophy of "thick foundation, wide major, high skills, and strong ability". With the fundamental task of cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability, the college is committed to building a distinctive high-level independent college suitable for the needs of social and economic development. The college currently has 25 enrollment majors, covering six major categories of "engineering, science, management, economics, literature, and law". There are more than 7,700 students on campus, and a total of more than 48,200 outstanding talents of various types have been trained. The college takes the quality of talent training as the foundation of the school and strengthens the connotation construction. The "311" talent training model and the "1+3+N" credit system teaching curriculum system are fully implemented. The curriculum is employment-oriented, people-oriented, and individualized. We attach importance to process management, implement ideological education, professional education, academic year review, mid-term review, and full-staff lectures to continuously ensure the quality of education and teaching. Focusing on "one foundation, two projects", we take "six rates" as a starting point to create a good learning atmosphere and continuously promote the construction of academic style. A total of 4,900 students from the college have been admitted to master's programs, including well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Nankai University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Normal University, and China Agricultural University; more than 800 students have been admitted as civil servants and selected by the Organization Department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee; more than 4,600 students have entered large state-owned enterprises, and the rate of graduation destination implementation ranks among the best in similar universities in Hebei Province. In the past five years, the college has won 1 national special prize, 9 first prizes, 20 second prizes, and 129 third prizes; 8 special prizes, 70 first prizes, 120 second prizes, and 270 third prizes in Hebei Province.
