Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics is a full-time general higher vocational college of finance and economics at the deputy department level under the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Finance. Its predecessor was the Jiangxi Finance and Accounting School founded in 1960. It was upgraded to the Jiujiang Branch of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in 1988 and changed its name to its current name in 2002. In 2010, it was selected by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of national key higher vocational college construction units, and passed the acceptance with an "excellent" grade in 2013. The main campus of the school is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It has three campuses: Jiujiang Balihu Campus, Jiujiang Xunyang Campus, and Nanchang Campus, covering an area of 1,266 acres and a school building area of 749,000 square meters. There are 113 on-campus training rooms (productive training bases) and 420 off-campus training and internship bases, including 2 national-level training bases, 1 national-level vocational education virtual simulation demonstration training base, and 1 national-level "dual-qualified" teacher training base.
