Guangdong Judicial Police Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as the College) was established in April 2002 with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. It was established on the basis of the Guangdong Judicial Police School (founded in April 1982) and the Guangdong Judicial School (founded in November 1982). It is a full-time public general college. The college has two campuses, Longdong and Shijing, with the main campus located in Longdong. The college is a deputy department-level organization and is under the management of the Provincial Department of Justice. It is guided by the Provincial Department of Education in teaching and professional construction. The college is a talent training base for the Guangdong judicial administration system, a base for improving the quality of the people's police in the judicial administration system, a base for applied theoretical research on judicial administration work, and a base for the inheritance of legal culture. The basic information about the college is as follows: 1. The main tasks of the school (a) to carry out vocational education for judicial police officers and college education in law; (b) to carry out college education for adults and law; (c) to undertake continuing education and relevant business training for cadres entrusted by the provincial judicial administration system and the Provincial Party Committee's Political and Legal Affairs Commission; (d) to carry out scientific research on topics such as criminal punishment execution and educational transformation; (e) to provide technical services for judicial administrative organs at all levels in our province. (f) to undertake correspondence courses and self-study examination tutoring and distance education for majors such as prison management and lawyers; (g) to carry out inter-school cooperation and exchanges. 2.
