Wuhan City Vocational College originated from the Lianghu General Normal School founded by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang in the late Qing Dynasty in 1904. It has a history of 120 years. The school has nearly 16,000 full-time students and more than 1,000 faculty and staff. There are three campuses with a total area of 1,850 acres and a building area of 610,000 square meters. There are more than 1.35 million books in the library and more than 400,000 electronic books. There are more than 340 training rooms on campus and more than 300 off-campus training bases.
