Changsha Aeronautical Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1973. It is a high-level vocational school and professional group construction unit with Chinese characteristics, a national high-quality junior college, a high-level vocational school and professional group (A-level) construction unit in Chuyi, Hunan Province, an excellent vocational college in Hunan Province, and a military-oriented sergeant training college. It is mainly responsible for training sergeants for the army and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for military equipment support and local aviation industry.
