Zhejiang Finance Vocational College is a school that General Secretary Xi Jinping has cared about. On October 28, 2003, when the new campus of Zhejiang Finance Vocational College was completed; on November 2, 2005, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of Zhejiang Finance Vocational College, Comrade Xi Jinping, then Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, sent a congratulatory letter to the school. Zhejiang Finance Vocational College is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China. Its predecessor was Zhejiang Finance and Banking School established in 1975. In 1978, Zhejiang Finance and Banking School was divided into Zhejiang Banking School and Zhejiang Finance School. In 1994, Zhejiang Banking School was rated as a national key secondary technical school. In 2002, Zhejiang Finance Vocational College was officially established with the approval of the Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education. In 2003, it was rated as the first excellent school in Zhejiang Province in the talent training level assessment. In 2006, it was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of "National Demonstration Higher Vocational College Construction Units" in the country, and passed the acceptance with excellent results in 2009. In 2014, it was awarded the honorary titles of "Zhejiang Province Labor Model Collective", "National Advanced Collective of Vocational Education", and "National Graduate Employment Typical Experience University".
