Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine Science New Medical College (hereinafter referred to as "the College") is jointly organized by Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. It is a public welfare institution approved by the State Administration of Registration and Administration of Public Institutions. It is the only independent college of Chinese medicine in South China at the ordinary full-time undergraduate level. It ranks among the top in the comprehensive school-running strength of independent medical colleges in the country. The college has a total of medical departments, medical technology departments, nursing departments, pharmacy departments and public administration departments, and offers majors in Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, nursing, Chinese medicine, pharmacy, drug preparation, rehabilitation therapy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, oral medicine technology, food quality and safety and marketing. Among them, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, nursing and pharmacy are key majors of private colleges and universities in Guangxi, and nursing and health care are pilot professional groups for the transformation and development of newly built undergraduate schools in Guangxi. The school has formed a pattern of "distinctive disciplines and prominent TCM culture" with TCM as the main discipline, coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as medicine, science, and management, and TCM applied education as the main line. The school fully shares the excellent faculty, teaching, scientific research achievements and other resources of the parent school, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. It is composed of a first-class teaching team composed of famous teachers from Guangxi universities, Bagui scholars, famous old Chinese medicine practitioners (famous Chinese medicine practitioners) in Guangxi, and other senior professors and well-known clinical experts to ensure the quality of teaching. It attaches great importance to practical teaching, and has built a fully functional experimental teaching center, clinical skills training department, and scientific research precision instrument room, covering basic TCM experiments and clinical skills training for internal and external women and children, drug preparation process training, basic nursing, clinical skills training departments of various departments, and innovation and entrepreneurship centers. It has more than 4,000 imported and domestic teaching instruments and equipment, which can meet the needs of experimental training teaching of different disciplines and majors and innovation and entrepreneurship activities of college students. The college has carried out extensive exchanges and cooperation between schools (hospitals) and enterprises. It has three provincial-level cooperative schools, namely, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory. It has also provided support for clinical teaching through clinical teaching internships and internship hospitals, including the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, and Guangxi International Zhuang Medicine Hospital. In addition, there are more than 60 internship units outside the district, including the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine, the Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to provide guarantees for students' graduation internships. The college adheres to the school motto of "Mingde Self-reliance, Harmony but Difference", strengthens party building, and runs through the "moral cultivation, self-reliance, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and integration and innovation" throughout the school.
