Xi'an Begonia Vocational College, formerly known as Shaanxi Begonia Traditional Chinese Medicine Cosmetology Training College, was established in 1996 and renamed Shaanxi Begonia Aesthetics College in 1999. In 2004, it was approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and filed with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and upgraded to a full-time private higher vocational college and renamed Xi'an Begonia Vocational College. Xi'an Begonia Vocational College fully implements the Party's education policy, conscientiously practices the core socialist values, follows the teaching rules of higher vocational education, establishes the concept of vocational education, vigorously promotes quality education, and promotes the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. With the fundamental principle of establishing morality and cultivating people, the purpose of serving development, and the orientation of promoting employment, it improves the mechanism of integrating production and education and coordinating education, and constantly explores the "2+1" innovative talent training model of school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education, gives full play to the advantages of school-enterprise cooperation, constantly updates the concept of running schools, strives to improve the conditions for running schools, actively seeks diversified cooperation, enriches the results of cultural education, enhances social service functions, takes the path of connotation development, and presents the coordinated development of scale, structure, quality, and efficiency. The college has 10 specialized institutions, including the Board of Directors, the College Management Committee, the Teaching Steering Committee, the Academic Committee, and the Security and Stability Working Committee. It has 20 functional departments, including the College Office, the Academic Affairs Office, the Student Affairs Office, and the Department of Medical Cosmetology, the Department of Medical Technology, and the Department of Engineering. The college is located in Bailuyuan University Town in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an, covering an area of 510 acres. The medical cosmetology technology major has become a brand in the beauty industry and was approved as a provincial first-class professional cultivation project in 2017; 4 majors including medical cosmetology technology, nursing, traditional Chinese medicine, and oral medicine technology have become provincial key majors; 6 majors including medical laboratory technology, rehabilitation therapy technology, marketing, and drug operation and management have become key majors at the college level; 4 majors including health management and construction project management are required majors for school-enterprise cooperation, basically forming a professional group with Chinese cosmetology as its feature, medical technology as the main body, economic management majors as a parallel, with traditional cultural characteristics and closely integrated with regional economic construction. The college adheres to the educational philosophy of "university and enterprise go hand in hand, science and technology and wealth win-win", and takes being based in Shaanxi, close to the market, facing the front line, and serving the whole country as its educational direction. It has trained more than 50,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physique, and aesthetics, who can meet the needs of professional positions and meet the requirements of production, construction, service and management. At present, relying on the resource advantages of Shaanxi Xixian New District Haitang Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd.
