A famous public school with an outstanding reputation. Hunan Information Vocational and Technical College is located in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, adjacent to Shichang Railway, Yuelin Expressway, Ring Expressway, Huangqiao Avenue, Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Rail Transit Hub, Changsha High-speed Railway West Station, Metro Line 4, and directly connected to the core area of Changsha City via Lei Feng Avenue and Jinxing Avenue. It has a superior location, convenient transportation, beautiful scenery and pleasant environment. Our college was founded in 1975, moved from Huaihua to Changsha as a whole in 1991, and merged with the Electronic Workers University in 1999 and upgraded to a higher vocational college. It is a public higher vocational college directly under the Changsha Municipal Government and the first batch of higher vocational and technical colleges approved by the Ministry of Education in Hunan Province. Our college takes "serving national strategies and cultivating technical talents" as its mission of running schools, and takes "building a pioneer in information technology applications and a base for cultivating intelligent manufacturing talents" as its behavioral orientation, and has trained a large number of information-related skilled professionals for the development of the information industry and local economy. It is the chairman unit of Hunan Information Industry Vocational Education Group, the leading unit of Hunan 3D Digital Technology Manufacturing Strategic Alliance, and the chairman unit of Hunan Electronics Society, Hunan Radio Society and Hunan Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Promotion Society. It is known as the "Huangpu Military Academy" and "Information Hunan Army" of Hunan information technology talents. The school is established with characteristics and famous teachers. The college has set up six major professional groups: robot technology application, intelligent manufacturing technology application, mobile Internet technology application, cyberspace security technology application, e-commerce technology and service, cultural communication and art design. It covers 35 popular majors in the market.
