Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University is located in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. It is a provincial key university with the advantages and characteristics of agricultural and forestry sciences and life sciences, and the coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, liberal arts, law, arts and other disciplines. It is a member of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The school has a long history. The predecessor of the school is the Agricultural Sciences of Fujian Union University, founded in 1936, and the Fujian Provincial Agricultural College, founded in 1940. Fujian Provincial Agricultural College is one of the earliest independently established agricultural and forestry colleges in southern my country.
