The Equipment Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is a full-army military academy affiliated to the General Armament Department. It mainly trains equipment command technology and aerospace command technology talents for the equipment system and aerospace field of the whole army. The academy is a key construction academy of the military's 2110 project. After more than 30 years of development and construction, it has formed a degree authorization system with military science as the main subject, and military science and engineering, management, economics, science, and law are integrated with each other. It has a number of disciplines and majors that are quite influential in the whole army and even the whole country. There are currently 2 postdoctoral mobile stations, 3 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 1 second-level discipline doctoral program, 10 first-level discipline master's programs, and 5 second-level discipline master's programs. It has 1 national key (cultivation) discipline, 6 key disciplines and professional fields of the military, 4 key disciplines of the General Armament Department, and 1 key discipline of Beijing. The academy has a faculty team represented by academicians and famous teachers, with good political thoughts, strong teaching and research capabilities, reasonable structure, and vitality. There is 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, more than 40 doctoral supervisors, and more than 150 master's supervisors. Five teachers were rated as national excellent teachers, 22 teachers were rated as excellent teachers of the whole army, and 43 teachers enjoyed special government allowances. The college has outstanding teaching and scientific research achievements, and has undertaken a large number of national and military key research projects. It has won more than 300 awards including national teaching achievement awards, national science and technology achievement special awards, and national science and technology invention awards, and more than 80 national invention patents. There are 2 national key laboratories and 2 military key laboratories; a 10G backbone bandwidth campus network and a branch of the National Digital Library; "Journal of Equipment Academy" is a core journal of military science. The college is located in Huairou District, Beijing, known as the "back garden of the capital", with three campuses in Huairou, Shahe and Changping, covering an area of 2,513 acres. The college has complete living facilities, convenient transportation and beautiful environment.
