Jilin Communications Vocational and Technical College is the first batch of higher vocational and technical colleges in the country and the first in Jilin Province. It is a provincial advanced vocational education unit, a provincial modern vocational education reform and development demonstration school construction unit and Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Excellent School, a national "modern apprenticeship pilot" and Jilin Province Modern Vocational Education Reform Demonstration School, a national 100 backbone higher vocational school, and a national "double high" plan high-level professional group construction unit. The school is located in Changchun, one of the central cities in Northeast China and an important industrial base-"Northern Spring City", covering an area of 460,000 square meters. Jilin Communications Vocational and Technical College is an important training base for transportation talents in Jilin Province. Founded in 1958, in 1998, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Jilin Communications School and Jilin Provincial Communications Workers University merged to form Jilin Communications Vocational and Technical College.
