Hefei Institute of Technology is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and organized by the Hefei Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was the Jianghuai College of Anhui University, founded in 2003. The school is located at No. 6 Zhizhong Road, Ecological Science City, Chaohu Peninsula, Hefei City, covering an area of 890 acres and a total construction area of 557,000 square meters.
