Harbin Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is a state-run general higher vocational and technical college of the power industry, approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is affiliated to the State Grid Corporation of China. The college is located in the beautiful urban area of Harbin, adjacent to the High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and is in harmony with the International Convention and Exhibition Center and Asia's tallest steel tower - Dragon Tower. Advanced appraisal conditions The college has simulation systems for 125MW, 200MW, 300MW, and 600MW thermal power generating units, simulation systems for 12MW and 300MW circulating fluidized bed thermal power generating units, and simulation systems for substations with voltage levels of 66KV, 110KV, 220KV, and 500KV. The college has the First National Occupational Skills Appraisal Station for Thermal Power Generation in Heilongjiang Province, the Second National Occupational Skills Appraisal Station for Thermal Power Generation in Heilongjiang Province, and the National Occupational Skills Appraisal Station for Power Supply and Use in Heilongjiang Province.
