Hunan University of Chinese Medicine Xiangxing College was established in June 2002. It was established by Hunan University of Chinese Medicine according to the new mechanism and new model. It was approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and confirmed by the Ministry of Education of China. It is a full-time general undergraduate independent college with independent legal personality. On October 19, 2021, the Ministry of Education approved the change of the organizer of Xiangxing College to "Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, Hunan Zhongsheng Education Investment Co., Ltd.". The host university, Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, has a history of more than 80 years of schooling, covers an area of 1,018 acres, and has more than 20,000 students. In 2006, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be renamed Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. In 2012, it entered the first-class enrollment sequence of Hunan Province. In 2018, it was selected as a "domestic first-class construction university" of Hunan Province's higher education institutions. Hunan University of Chinese Medicine Xiangxing College (Xiangyin Campus) is located at No. 66, Xiangyin Section, Furong North Road, Jinlong Town, Xiangyin County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. The college enrolls students from 11 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), including Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangxi, Xinjiang, Chongqing and Tibet. The enrollment plan is included in the enrollment plan of full-time undergraduate colleges and universities. There are more than 5,700 students on campus.
