History The school (Academy of Sciences) was formed in May 2017 by the integration of Qilu University of Technology and Shandong Academy of Sciences. The history of Qilu University of Technology can be traced back to the Jiaodong Industrial School established by the Jiaodong Military Region of the People's Liberation Army in 1948. From 1978 to 2013, it was the period of Shandong Institute of Light Industry. In 2013, it was renamed Qilu University of Technology.
