Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Economics and Trade is a full-time public higher vocational school organized by the Zhejiang Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. It is a national high-quality higher vocational college, a national "double high plan" construction unit and a provincial "double high" school. Its predecessor was Zhejiang Supply and Marketing School founded in 1979 and Zhejiang Supply and Marketing Cooperative Staff College founded in 1984. It was approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Government in 1999 for preparation and construction, and officially established in January 2002. In 2004, it was relocated to Qiantang District, Hangzhou.
