Tianjin Urban Construction Management Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general higher vocational and technical school approved by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, and recruiting students nationwide. The Party Committee of the College has a firm political stance, seizes rare opportunities, and resolutely implements the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on "accelerating the construction of the first Luban Workshop in Central Asia in Tajikistan", completing the construction of the "Ta Workshop" with high quality and high standards. In 2022, the "Ta Workshop" was officially launched, marking the completion and operation of the first Luban Workshop in Central Asia, filling the gap in the cooperation between China and Tajikistan in the field of vocational and technical education, and has representative significance in regional cooperation and the joint construction of the "Belt and Road". The college relies on the energy industry to run schools, serve the technological innovation of enterprises affiliated to Tianjin Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., enhance the dependence of enterprises on the college, deepen the integration of production and education with enterprises affiliated to the energy group, actively build a community of shared destiny between school and enterprise, and become a pioneer in vocational education with deep integration of school-enterprise cooperation in the energy industry; the college has four secondary colleges: the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Information Management, the School of Energy and Mechanical and Electrical, and the School of Applied Arts. It has built four major professional groups: green buildings, urban intelligent management, smart energy, and applied arts, and has opened a total of 31 majors (including 3 three-two-segment majors). Among them, the welding technology and automation major is a pilot major of the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education, the urban thermal energy application technology and construction engineering technology majors are high-quality backbone majors in Tianjin, and the engineering cost (construction engineering cost) and architectural decoration engineering technology majors are backbone majors in Tianjin. The college strictly implements the construction standards of professional training teaching conditions in vocational colleges. The school has various training rooms at all levels such as welding robots, aerial survey and remote sensing, and solar clean energy, and more than 100 off-campus internship and training bases, covering practical course teaching and external training services for 31 majors; the college actively responds to and implements the national "dual carbon" development strategy, with the construction of a smart low-carbon management and control system as the center, and with the information physical system (CPS) as the technical basis, it has built a unified and standardized training safety management information system to create a smart low-carbon campus. The college is a high-level vocational school for the creation and empowerment of vocational education in Tianjin, and a high-level professional group construction unit for smart energy and urban intelligent management. The college is a national modern apprenticeship pilot college, a benchmark school construction unit for vocational education informatization of the Ministry of Education, a characteristic school of national defense education of the Ministry of Education, a pilot unit for the effectiveness award of the comprehensive reform of "three-dimensional education" in colleges and universities in Tianjin, an advanced school of "civilized campus" in Tianjin, and a new media demonstration school for ideological and political education for college students in Tianjin. In 2023, the Party Committee of the College will give full play to the leading role of the "flagship store" of the Luban Workshop in Central Asia in Tajikistan and the platform role of the "Tajik-China Vocational Education Training Center", successfully hold the "First China-Tajikistan Vocational Education Forum", sign a joint training cooperation agreement for the joint construction of the Luban Workshop with three schools in China and Tajikistan, and sign a strategic cooperation framework agreement for the industry-education collaborative education alliance with Chinese enterprises in Tajikistan, promote the operation and development of the "Tajik Workshop" with high quality and high standards, and the "Tajik Workshop" construction project will be selected as one of the "Three Hundred" project cases for cadre education and training in Tianjin. The main responsible comrades of the Party Committee of the College were awarded the "Tajik-China Cultural and Educational Exchange Special Contribution Award" by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. The college successfully applied for the key tasks of the Ministry of Education's reform of the construction of a modern vocational education system, and successfully obtained approval for the construction of two teaching resource libraries for vocational education majors of the Ministry of Education, vocational schools with a high level of internationalization in Tianjin vocational education, typical production practice projects for school-enterprise cooperation in Tianjin vocational education, first-class core courses (offline courses) in Tianjin vocational education, and vocational education resources with international influence in Tianjin vocational education; the major of urban thermal energy application technology was approved as the project construction team of the Tianjin Vocational Education Teacher Innovation Team. The college participated in the second national college ideological and political theory teaching demonstration and excellent course observation activity, and won the first prize in the teaching demonstration of the 'Situation and Policy' course.
