Zhengzhou Information Technology Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial Government in 2002 and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2003. It implements a management system under the supervision of the provincial government and the management of Henan Open University. It effectively utilizes the high-quality resources of Henan Open University to run schools. The two schools implement the operation mode of "one set of institutions, two brands, unified leadership, and integrated operation". The school is located in the Longzihu University Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, covering a total area of 500 acres, with a building area of 350,000 square meters, a total value of more than 102.9165 million yuan in teaching and scientific research equipment, and more than 625,000 books. There are 702 faculty and staff, 10,700 full-time students, and 4,291 students in higher vocational colleges. A total of more than 45,000 qualified graduates have been trained, and the employment rate has remained stable at more than 95% in the past five years. The school has 9 colleges, including the School of Information Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing, the School of Construction Engineering and Intelligent Construction, the School of Humanities and Design, the School of Business and Accounting, the School of Art and Sports, the School of Marxism, the School of Rural Revitalization, the School of Special Education, and the School of Smart Culture and Tourism; it offers 32 majors, including big data technology, industrial robot technology, e-commerce, big data and accounting; it has three colleges, namely Runxin, Wenxin and Jiangxin, and has established a coordinated system and mechanism of "five-pronged education" and "three-dimensional education", forming a five-level management system of "school-college-educator-community-dormitory" and a "one-stop" student community system, and the level of school management and education continues to improve. Since 2019, the school has actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to expand the enrollment of higher vocational colleges by one million.
