Zhuhai Vocational College of Art is an important art college in South Guangdong. Formerly the Chinese Dance Teaching Institute founded in 1998, it was approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government in 2003 and filed with the Ministry of Education to become a full-time general college that issues electronic registered diplomas and is included in the national unified enrollment plan (college code: 12576). The school has a unique geographical advantage. It is located in Jinwan University City, Zhuhai Special Economic Zone. It is surrounded by mountains and the sea, with a beautiful environment, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, and convenient life. The school is close to Zhuhai Gongbei Customs and Zhuhai Airport. With the advancement of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the school's location advantage will be more prominent. The school is also a standing director unit of the China Art Vocational Education Society, the secretary-general unit of the CEFA Foreign Cultural Exchange Working Committee, and one of the first six national Master of Arts (MFA) professional degree graduate practice teaching base alliance colleges, and together with other alliance colleges, it shoulders the important task of cultivating high-level art professionals for the country. It offers national key majors such as jewelry craftsmanship and design, provincial key construction majors such as environmental art design, music performance, provincial high-level professional groups such as film and television animation, music performance professional groups, as well as dance performance, broadcasting and hosting, e-commerce, tourism management and business English, etc. 47 majors, covering 7 major disciplines including culture and art, civil engineering, finance and trade, education and sports, journalism and communication, forming a school-running pattern with art education as its feature and coordinated development of literature, economy and management. The school recruits students for general higher education and adult higher education in more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country. It also cooperates with South China Normal University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics and other institutions to carry out "mutual communication" self-study undergraduate education. Students can obtain undergraduate diplomas from South China Normal University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics and other institutions at the same time when they graduate.
