Henan Procuratorial Vocational College is affiliated to the Henan Provincial People's Procuratorate and is under the business leadership of the Henan Provincial Department of Education. The predecessor of the college was the Henan Provincial Procuratorial School, which was established in February 1988 with the approval of the provincial government. It mainly undertakes the training of Henan procuratorial police officers. In April 1994, academic education was carried out, and secondary school students majoring in procuratorial majors were recruited from the society. In April 2003, with the approval of the provincial government and the approval of the Ministry of Education, Henan Procuratorial Vocational College was established, becoming the only general college in the procuratorial system in my country that recruits students nationwide, mainly undertaking legal college education. In addition to college education, our college jointly runs schools with Henan University of Finance and Economics to train undergraduate students. At present, there are more than 7,000 undergraduate and junior college students. The original address of the college was No. 1 Yingxie Road, Zhengzhou City. The new campus is located in Xinzheng Longhu University Park, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It was put into use in September 2006, covering an area of more than 1,000 acres. There are more than 260 acres of natural lakes on campus, with rippling blue waves, shady trees, beautiful environment and pleasant scenery. The existing building area is more than 140,000 square meters, with teaching and living facilities such as teaching buildings, training buildings, office buildings, 400-meter standardized sports fields, basketball and tennis courts, student dormitories, and restaurants. The college currently has 28 party and government management departments, teaching units, and teaching auxiliary institutions. It has a team of high-level teachers with rich experience, rigorous scholarship, and dedication to their jobs, including 82% masters, 26% doctors, and 57 professors and associate professors. Since its establishment, under the correct leadership of the Provincial Procuratorate and the strong guidance of the Provincial Department of Education, the college has always adhered to the comprehensive implementation of the party's education policy, identified the school's positioning, and clarified the direction of development; always adhered to the laws of higher vocational education and continuously strengthened the connotation construction; always adhered to the importance of student ability training, continuously improved the teaching quality, and consciously served the procuratorial cause and the national economic and social development, and achieved remarkable results. The college has successively passed the talent training level assessment organized by the Ministry of Education of China, the moral education assessment of colleges and universities in the province organized by the Provincial Department of Education, as well as the team building assessment, enrollment and employment assessment, sports assessment, and art education assessment, and obtained excellent and good results respectively. It has been successively rated as "the top ten most influential vocational colleges in Henan Province", "advanced unit for work style construction", "provincial civilized unit", "characteristic vocational college in Henan Province", "high-quality vocational college construction unit in Henan Province", and "model of civilized campus in Henan Province". In May 2023, the "Henan Provincial Public Security and Judicial Backbone Vocational Education Group" led by our college was officially established.
