Yunnan Agricultural Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public general college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school also hangs the sign of Yunnan Breeding and Promotion Center. The predecessor of the school was the Yunnan Sericulture School, which was founded in 1904. It pioneered vocational education in Yunnan.
