Fuzhou Liming Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private general college invested and established by Fujian Liming Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. and approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It began to recruit students from inside and outside the province in 2004. The college currently has two campuses, Fuyu and Global Village, with nearly 7,665 students and nearly 400 teachers. The campus covers an area of more than 500 acres, with an average of 26.64 square meters of teaching and administrative space per student, and a teaching and scientific research equipment value of 4,821 yuan per student. It has a complete range of teaching, book collections, sports venues, and living facilities. In recent years, the college has conscientiously implemented the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, closely focusing on the goal of cultivating talents in higher vocational education, and condensing and practicing the "Liming Model" of teaching and educating people: focusing on the education of love on one hand and practical teaching on the other. "Education of love" was included in the first batch of Fujian Province's college students' ideological and political education innovation demonstration projects and Fujian Province's colleges and universities' ideological and political work boutique projects. The school has won gold medals in national and provincial vocational skills competitions, with more than 400 awards, including 25 gold, 30 silver and 29 bronze medals in national vocational school and industry skills competitions. Two students won gold medals in national competitions and entered the talent pool of the Ministry of Education. Six teachers have won national awards for their teaching and scientific research achievements, including two teachers who won first prizes at the national level for their research papers; they won one second prize and one third prize in the teaching ability competition of the Fujian Vocational School Skills Competition; they won three provincial education and teaching achievement awards, including one special prize and two second prizes; they developed new dishes and won gold medals in provincial competitions, and were awarded 15 famous Fujian dishes and two famous snacks. There are 1 national scientific research project, 80 provincial scientific research projects, and 13 provincial teaching reform projects; there are 3 provincial demonstration majors, 1 provincial productive training base, 1 provincial financially supported training base, 1 provincial high-level professional production-education integration training base, 5 provincial offline boutique courses, 1 online boutique course, 1 provincial typical case of teaching reform, 4 provincial industrial college pilot projects, 5 1+X system pilot projects, 42 training courses jointly developed by schools and enterprises, and 105 off-campus training bases jointly built by schools and enterprises. Relying on the cooking training base, it has successively hosted 8 national, provincial and municipal cooking skills competitions. The college has successively won the titles of National Education Innovation Demonstration Unit, Advanced Colleges for Education Construction with Chinese Characteristics, Advanced Units for Collaborative Innovation of Industry, University and Research, and National Excellent Colleges for Catering Vocational Education. It was awarded the title of "Fujian Civilized School" by the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government.
