Dezhou Vocational College of Science and Technology was jointly funded and built by the Dezhou Municipal People's Government and Yucheng Municipal People's Government in 1988. It was approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. It has developed into a mixed-ownership college with higher education qualifications based on the Dezhou Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School, a national key school. The college has a central campus and a main campus. The campus covers an area of 2,260 acres and a building area of 800,000 square meters. There are more than 17,000 students, teaching and scientific research equipment with a total value of 115 million yuan, and a collection of more than 1.6 million paper books.
