[Basic Information of the School] Fujian Agricultural Vocational and Technical College is a public, full-time general college under the jurisdiction of the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. It is the only agricultural higher vocational college in Fujian Province. Over the years, the college has kept pace with the national development process and the pace of change of the times, adhering to the school motto of "virtue, skills, and learning", promoting the spirit of "hard work, self-improvement, dedication, and harmonious development" of Fujian, and practicing the school-running philosophy of "farming and reading to strengthen agriculture, and keeping pace with the times". [Hundreds of Years of Passing on the Torch] Fujian Agricultural Vocational and Technical College originated from the Sericulture School of the Fujian Agricultural and Sericultural Administration in 1902. It is one of the earliest schools in my country to offer agricultural vocational education and is known as the birthplace of modern agricultural vocational education in China. In February 2003, with the approval of the Fujian Provincial People's Government, it was established by merging Fuzhou Agricultural School and Fujian Agricultural School. In 2015, the Fujian Agricultural Cadre School was abolished and incorporated into the college as a whole. 【Beautiful Campus】The college is located in the central area of the West Coast Economic Zone of the Straits, in Fuzhou, the gateway to the Maritime Silk Road and a famous historical and cultural city. The college has two campuses, Xiangsiling and Shoushan. The main campus (Xiangsiling Campus) is located at the foot of Xiangsiling in the southern suburbs of Fuzhou City. It is surrounded by mountains and water, with fresh air, beautiful scenery, and birdsong and flowers. Relying on the superior natural ecology, the college continues to promote the "Beautiful Campus" project, and the levels of campus purification, greening, beautification, and lighting have been greatly improved.
