Sichuan Tianyi College was founded in 1991. In 1994, it was approved by the former State Education Commission as an independent full-time college-level college, becoming the first batch of private colleges in the country (7) and the first private college in the southwest region to be included in the national general higher education sequence. In 2000, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, the school obtained the qualification to independently organize adult education, and it is the earliest private college in the province to carry out continuing education. In the same year, the college obtained the qualification of "junior college to undergraduate" for students on campus. In 2004, it was approved by the Provincial Department of Education as the first batch of pilot colleges to implement the credit system reform in the province, and it is the only private college approved among the higher vocational colleges in the province. In 2014, the school was successfully selected as one of the third batch of pilot colleges and universities in Sichuan Province to carry out the reform of the credit system for adult higher education. In 2015, the school was approved by the Sichuan Higher Education Admissions Examination Committee and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education as a higher vocational college to carry out the pilot reform of independent enrollment, and implemented independent enrollment for the first time. School Scale and Infrastructure In September 2014, the school was built and put into use at No. 88, East Second Ring Road, Mianzhu City, Deyang. School Logo The school logo is a flag fluttering in the wind, implying the school's future goals; the visual difference created by the combination of five blue and green curves and four white arc curves makes the rhythmic water pattern more vivid; the two Chinese characters "Tianyi" are cleverly integrated between the curves. The entire color tone is fixed as youthful blue and lively green, which complements the graphics to achieve the effect of showing the school's style and spreading the school's spirit. The school emblem is a round badge worn by faculty and staff, with the standard school logo printed in the middle and the Chinese and English abbreviations of the school name "Sichuan Tianyi College" printed on the edge.
